CUHR Connection: May 2024
Dear colleagues,
Welcome to the May edition of Your CUHR (Columbia University Human Resources) Connection, designed to provide a snapshot of what Human Resources offers you.
News
- After a difficult academic year, it’s important to be aware of the resources available to you. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential counseling and support services designed to help faculty and staff manage their stress and maintain their mental health. Columbia employees and their household members are eligible to receive six free sessions per topic with a certified counselor. Call 844-636-1260 for more details or go to their website (Username: Columbia; Password: eap).
- The EAP also provides life coaching services, separate from their counseling services. If you are pursuing a goal in any area of your life, a coach will help you develop greater clarity, confidence, and courage to achieve your desired outcome. Call 844-636-1260 to enroll in the life coaching program and receive up to six sessions with a Certified Life Coach.
Your Benefits
- If you or your children are already thinking about the next academic year, explore the tuition program benefits offered to you and your eligible family members. Learn more by visiting the Tuition Programs page.
- May is also Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month. With your Maven maternity benefit, you’re never alone during pregnancy or after you’ve had a baby. Meet some of Maven’s pregnancy and postpartum providers and learn more about what Maven can offer you.
