The People @ Columbia system is being upgraded. While there are no significant changes to the core functionality of the system, users will see changes in the overall navigation.
In order to implement the upgrade, PAC will be unavailable from Friday, April 3 at 5 p.m. – Sunday, April 5, 2020. Normal Manager Self-Service (MSS) and Employee Self-Service (ESS) will resume on Monday April 6 at 8 a.m.
During the downtime, HR Data Store reports and FDS payroll reports will be available.
What is New
While there are no changes to the core functionality within PAC – MSS pages, Labor Accounting, Template-Based Hire (TBH) or reports, users will see navigation changes. An overview of what is new is outlined below:
Navigation: You will see additional navigation tiles which easily bring you to topic related pages.
The following training videos highlight the navigation changes as well as the other small functionality changes. When you click on one of the links below, you will be asked to sign in with your UNI and password. Once on the page, simply click the blue "Enroll" button if you have never taken any of the modules, or click the “view details” link to open the list of modules if you have completed any in the past.
Using Employee Self-Service: This module shows you the navigation tiles and page collections, as well as how to use the employee self-service pages in PAC.
PAC Transactor Navigation:This module contains a short video that shows you the navigation tiles and page collections for transactions in PAC, such as HR Transactions, LA Transactions, Team Time, My Team, Talent Summary and Team Performance.
