Reminder for Officers: Benefits OE Forums Start This Week

October 19, 2020

Annual Benefits Open Enrollment is November 2 - 20, 2020.

To help you make the right choices, we invite you to join one of our Benefits Information Forums about 2021 offerings. Due to COVID-19 protocols, there will be no in-person Benefit Expos. The health and safety of our community is our utmost concern.

Each of the four scheduled forums for Officers—presented by the University’s HR Benefits Specialists (Health & Welfare, Retirement, Tuition)—will introduce What’s New for 2021, including contribution rates. Each presentation will be followed by an opportunity for employees to ask questions.

Go to our Benefits Information Forums page for the schedule and to register.

You Must Enroll in Your 2021 Benefits by November 20, 2020. If you do not enroll, you will be automatically re-enrolled in your current Medical, Vision, Dental, Transit/Parking Reimbursement Program (T/PRP), Life Insurance (Optional, Spouse and Child), and Optional Long-Term Disability coverage.

If you wish to participate in the Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Child Care Benefit, or Health Savings Account in 2021, you must re-enroll during Open Enrollment.

Can’t make it to an information forum? Watch a pre-recorded presentation now.

2021 Benefits Open Enrollment materials will be mailed to your home this week.  We will provide information and other updates on our OE page: humanresources.columbia.edu/oe.

We look forward to your attendance at a Benefits Information Forum.
