This email was sent to all benefits-eligible employees on May 8, 2023.
With the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency approaching on May 11, 2023, we want to update you on a few changes to your benefits coverage:
- Free at-home COVID test kits will no longer be available. However, you are able to use your FSA/HSA funds to purchase them directly.
- In-office COVID testing, antibody testing and other COVID-related physician visits and antiviral medications will no longer be at a $0 copay, but will revert back to your normal deductible/copay rate.
- COVID vaccinations administered in-network will continue to be available to you at no cost.
- The deadline to submit 2022 Healthcare FSA expenses to United Healthcare will be no later than July 10, 2023. Any amounts remaining in your account as of July 11, 2023, will be forfeited, subject to the Plan’s carryover provision.
