Columbia University New Hire Orientation
New Hire Orientation is a dynamic program designed to welcome new hires to Columbia University. The Program introduces Morningside and Manhattanville campus faculty and staff to University leadership and key departments, provides onboarding tips and campus safety information, along with a broad overview of University work/life and healthcare benefits.
Orientation is held approximately every two weeks at the Manhattanville campus. Continental breakfast is served as you network with other new colleagues. All participants will receive an official new hire welcome package.
All Faculty, Officers of Instruction, Officers of Research, Officers of the Libraries and Administrative Officers and Union and Non-Union Support Staff who work on Morningside or Manhattanville campus.

We strongly recommend new hires register for orientation within your first two weeks to ensure benefits enrollment is completed by the requisite first 30 days of your hire date.
- If you have a UNI and password, register now.
- If you do not yet have a UNI, or you have difficulty registering for orientation with your UNI, please contact your Human Resources representative or departmental administrator to confirm all your new hire paperwork has been processed.

Orientation is held in the Studebaker building located at 615 West 131st Street, Room 469 (4th floor) on the Manhattanville campus. To access the building, please bring your Columbia ID or a valid ID.
