Columbia University is proud to offer fertility and family building benefits that guide you through all of life's milestones, including family planning, pregnancy and postpartum, and menopause and midlife health.
Starting January 1, 2027, fertility and family building benefits will be provided by Progyny. Current Maven members will automatically be enrolled with Progyny.
Your Progyny coverage will include:
- Two Smart Cycles for comprehensive treatment coverage
- Progyny Rx fertility medication coverage
- Fertility preservation coverage for egg and sperm freezing
- Donor tissue coverage for egg and sperm tissue purchase
- $30,000 surrogacy financial assistance per lifetime
- $7,500 adoption financial assistance per child
- $1,000 Milk Shipping financial assistance per child

Maven’s Menopause & Midlife Health program provides holistic and specialized support through all stages of menopause. Support includes:

- Referrals to company resources and in-person providers, personalized to each member
- Educational articles available on member dashboard and easily searchable
- Drop-in groups available for members to connect with others in this journey

Perinatal Rapid Access Model
Columbia Psychiatry's Perinatal Rapid Access Model (PRAM) offers rapid access to psychiatric and psychological evaluation to plan participants and their covered partners who are expecting a child, or are new parents. Schedule an initial visit through Connect after answering a brief set of questions about yourself or your covered partner.
