NYS Minimum Wage Change as of January 1, 2025
Effective January 1, 2025, the New York State Department of Labor has increased the minimum wage to $16.50 per hour for New York City.
Paid Lactation Breaks
Columbia has recently revised its Lactation Policy in keeping with New York State law that now provides for 30-minute paid lactation breaks for employees.
New Casual Employment Letter for Immediate Use
A revised casual hiring letter is now available. The new letter is the only one that should be used effective immediately.
