Webinar

Effective performance evaluations begin well before a supervisor sits down to write. They depend on clear, realistic expectations, a shared understanding of how performance will be assessed, and meaningful information about an employee's work.

In this first workshop in the two-part Developmental Evaluations series, supervisors, managers, and other people leaders will reflect on whether those foundations are in place and identify gaps that could affect the evaluation process. Participants will also explore practical ways to gather useful evidence of employee performance throughout the year, creating a stronger basis for evaluations that are fair, constructive, and focused on growth.

Through guided reflection, collaborative discussion, and action planning, attendees will:

  • Assess their readiness to evaluate employee performance
  • Identify opportunities to gather useful, relevant evidence
  • Develop a concrete next step for strengthening their supervisory and evaluation practices
