March 03, 2026

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the March edition of Your CUHR (Columbia University Human Resources) Connection, designed to provide a snapshot of what Human Resources offers you.

News

  • Friday, March 6 is recognized as National Employee Appreciation Day. As we strive to recognize the tremendous work you all do for our University community throughout the year, we wanted to take this moment to express our admiration for the efforts of all our faculty, staff, and healthcare professionals at Columbia University.
  • Join us at the Columbia women’s basketball game this Saturday, March 7 vs. Harvard at Levien Gymnasium (120th Street and Broadway). A faculty/staff discount is available. The Lions will battle for a share of the Ivy League title for the fourth year in a row!
  • Through March 31, the Division of Digestive & Liver Diseases will hold space in their schedules for faculty and staff eligible and interested in getting screened for colorectal cancer at the 51 W 51st Street, CUIMC Main Campus, and The One Westchester locations. If you would like to schedule a screening with a Columbia gastroenterologist, please email [email protected] with your contact details, and you will receive a call to book a procedure.
