- Annual Benefits Open Enrollment ends this Friday, November 21. This is your opportunity to review and update your benefits for the upcoming year, unless you experience a qualified life change. If you have a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account or receive the Child Care Benefit, you will need to update those tax savings accounts if you are still eligible.
- The Columbia Center for Community Health is open in Manhattanville! Explore their research, health services, training, and outreach programs, or visit them in person at the Jerome L. Greene Science Center on West 130th Street and Broadway.

- If you have student loans, Columbia offers support. Did you know that more than 2,000 Columbia University employees have achieved more than $2 million in Public Service Loan Forgiveness? Through Savi, Columbia’s Student Debt Solutions benefit, eligible employees have no-cost access to personalized analysis of your options, one-on-one borrower support, and much more.
- Effective January 1, 2026, if you earn more than $150,000 and have elected to make catch-up contributions, you must contribute to the Roth post-tax option. Catch-up contributions for all employees also will increase for 2026. Review the 2026 IRS limits here.
- TIAA and Vanguard retirement planning specialists are available for one-on-one consultations on campus or virtually. Sign up now with a TIAA or Vanguard representative to personalize your investments to help meet your retirement goals.
