With tax season approaching, we are writing to ensure you receive your W-2 tax form as securely and quickly as possible through electronic delivery.
Our records indicate that you are not currently enrolled for electronic delivery, and we strongly recommend that you enroll by January 5, 2027. If you do not enroll, your W-2 form will be sent via U.S. mail.

- Confirm access through multi-factor authentication (DUO), if prompted

Once your W-2 form is available, you will be notified via email.
Benefits of Electronic W-2 Forms
- Electronic W-2s are available on average 7-10 days earlier than paper copies mailed to your home.
- A physical W-2 sitting in an unsecured mailbox is a prime target for identity thieves. Digital portals secure your information behind user authentication and modern data encryption.
- You can download or print your form from anywhere at any time.
- It eliminates physical paper waste and helps the University save on printing and postage.
- Electronic W-2 forms for the current tax year may be printed as often as needed at no cost through December 31, 2027, by logging in to https://my.columbia.edu. After this date, a $20 fee will apply to each additional copy. Employees who receive paper W-2 forms may access one complimentary copy online through December 31 of each year. A $20 fee will apply to each additional copy. Terminated faculty and staff will be able to access electronic W-2s at https://my.columbia.edu or www.PaperlessEmployee.com/columbiau.
