Benefits Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review and update your benefits for the upcoming year.
Changes made during the enrollment period, November 4-22, 2024, will take effect on January 1, 2025.
Instructions
How to Enroll
- Log in to CUBES during Benefits Open Enrollment
- Unless you have a qualified life change, the Open Enrollment period from November 4-22, 2024 is your only opportunity to make changes to your benefits until the next Open Enrollment period in 2025.
- Follow the instructions on CUBES
What Happens If You Don't Enroll or Make Changes
If you do not make benefits elections for 2025:
You will be automatically re-enrolled in your current year benefits:
- Medical (includes Basic Vision and Prescription drug coverage)
- Dental
- Transit/Parking Reimbursement Program (T/PRP)
- Life Insurance (Optional*, Spouse* and Child*)
- Optional Long-Term Disability*
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)
- Voluntary Benefits
You will no longer have coverage for:
- Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Dependent Care FSA
- Health Savings Account (HSA)*
- Child Care Benefit**
The choices you make will stay in effect all year unless you experience a Qualified Life Change. The only exceptions are Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, the Transit/Parking Reimbursement Program, and the Health Savings Account*, which you can change at any time.

**Officers, NUSS, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Local 100 only
