In the unfortunate event of the death of a current employee, departments must follow the University’s established procedures for processing final payments to the employee’s estate or designated beneficiary. These steps should be initiated promptly with the appropriate documentation attached to ensure compliance with the University’s policy and applicable tax regulations.
