Join us at Upcoming Open Enrollment Events

October 08, 2025

Dear Colleagues:

Annual Benefits Open Enrollment will take place from November 10 to November 21, 2025. This year’s Open Enrollment window has been adjusted to two weeks instead of three weeks to accommodate recent scheduling changes.

To help you make the right choices during Open Enrollment, we invite you to join one of our Benefits Information Forums about 2026 offerings.

Presented by the University’s HR Benefits Specialists, there will be a General Benefits Information Forum held on Tuesday, October 21 (Officers) and Thursday, October 23 (Support Staff). Half of the session will be allotted for Q&A. Before the event, please email any questions to [email protected] with Forum in the subject line.

A second set of information forums on Tuesday, October 28 (Officers) and Wednesday, October 29 (Support Staff), focused exclusively on Open Enrollment will introduce What’s New for 2026, including new and enhanced benefits, with opportunities for you to ask questions.

Go to our Benefits Information Forums page for the schedule and to register. You are also invited to attend a Benefits Expo and sign up for a Health Screening. The Benefits Expos and Health Screenings will take place across the Morningside, Manhattanville and Irving Medical Center campuses in November.

You must enroll in your 2026 Benefits by November 21, 2025. If you do not enroll, you will be automatically re-enrolled in your current Medical, Prescription, Optional Vision, Dental, Transit/Parking Reimbursement Program (T/PRP), Life Insurance (Optional, Spouse and Child), Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Optional Long-Term Disability coverage and voluntary benefits.

If you wish to participate in the Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, or Child Care Benefit in 2026, you must re-enroll during Open Enrollment.
