Dear Colleague,
I am writing to inform you about New York City's Workers' Bill of Rights, which was established to protect the rights and well-being of all workers in New York City.
The Workers' Bill of Rights, compiled by the New York Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, provides an overview of city, state and federal laws concerning the rights of New York City employees.
Please visit the NYC Consumer and Worker protection website to learn more. If you have any questions or concerns about your rights as an employee, please do not hesitate to reach out to your local Human Resources representative. To learn more about Columbia’s employment policies, please view the Human Resources section of the University Policies site.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Dan Driscoll
