Upcoming TalentLink Upgrades

May 26, 2026

Dear Colleagues:

There will be upcoming changes to the navigation model within TalentLink that will provide a more focused, consistent experience for users. A beta version is available now and the general release will happen later this summer. Once TalentLink announces the exact date of the general release, we will inform our users.

What is changing?

  • An Intuitive sidebar for easy navigation
    • The existing main menu icon has been replaced with an always present sidebar that provides easy access to key areas. The streamlined set of top-level items enables individual menu sections to be better categorized and surfaced more intuitively through a slide-out secondary menu, ensuring you can quickly locate the content you need.
    • Please note that, while some categories and menu item labels have been changed or refined for improved clarity, all existing menu items have a home in the new structure.
  • Bookmark support for quick access to key items
    • Save time and streamline your workflow by pinning your most critical jobs and candidates to access them instantly from a centralized location and cut down on repetitive searches.
    • Instead of re-running searches, you can now click the bookmark icon on any job or applicant card to pin it to your sidebar. It makes your high-priority items a single click away, and they're just as easy to remove once you’re finished with them
  • Simplified and enhanced top navigation
    • The top navigation bar has received a simplified and modernized uplift. This refined space now houses new features like the Product Switcher and is designed to improve usability and responsiveness across all device sizes.
  • Quick navigation
    • The new Product Switcher, located in the left corner of the top navigation bar, offers a faster, more intuitive way to move across all related products.
    • This inclusion allows users to easily navigate to other products in your suite without needing to use separate bookmarks or open a new tab manually.

Why are these changes being made?

These updates are being introduced to deliver a more modern, efficient, and consistent user experience. The goal is to make it simpler for you to quickly access the tools and information you need, allowing you to focus on your most important work.

The key drivers behind the new navigation are to deliver:

  • Faster, more intuitive workflows: Improved categorization and reduced navigational complexity, meaning better flow and less time spent clicking around.
  • Enhanced accessibility and responsiveness: The new design is built to improve accessibility standards and is fully responsive, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience whether you are on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device.
  • Readiness for future innovation: By simplifying the underlying technical structure, TalentLink is building a stronger platform to deliver new enhancements more effectively and quickly in the future.
