Dear HR Colleagues,

This email is to inform you of the new process for submitting paper transactions for approval and processing by HRPC.

Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, all PAF and other paper HR transactions (like time entry forms) can be submitted through PAC. This new process will replace the process you have been following using either email or SharePoint (CUIMC only). Transactions initiated in PAC will route via the eTerm workflow for approval.

Any transactions that are currently in the email/SharePoint process should be completed using the old process. All new transactions must be submitted using the new paper transaction functionality.

What is new

You will continue to access PAFs as you normally do. Once you have downloaded the PAF and made the required changes, upload the PAF and any supporting documentation as one PDF file via the paper transaction functionality in PAC. You will select the type of transaction you are submitting. There is also an “other” category if the other options do not fit the type of paper transaction you are submitting.

Do not password protect these files. Because they route through PAC and not email, there is no need to password-protect the files. Signatures on the PAF are not required. Since these transactions will route through the PAC workflow, the approvals will be recorded like any other electronic transaction.

Training

A training video, Paper Transactions Through PAC, is available for your review. When you click on the link, you will be asked to sign in with your UNI and password. Once on the page, simply click the blue "Enroll" button (or “View Summary” if you have taken other modules within the MSS course).
