Reappointment Roster Automation

Dear Colleague –

Effective with the September 1, 2022 fall/spring roster, the process to reappoint part-time faculty and student officers on the Morningside campus has been automated and these appointments will now be processed directly in PAC. 

What is New
This automated process replaces paper and Excel spreadsheet rosters previously used. The rosters will now be accessed and updated within the HR Transactions page in PAC. Once submitted, they will be sent through the workflow and accessed for review by the approvers in the Worklist in PAC. After final approval, the rosters will be processed in PAC. 

For Student Officer Appointments, level 3 Provost approval no longer exists. GSAS approval also no longer exists for Arts and Sciences student officers. This means that after level 2 approval in the school/department, the transactions will be processed in PAC.

Rosters will open around Monday, July 25, 2022, and you will receive a communication with additional details and due dates. 

What Do I Need to Do?
Training materials for learning how to access, submit, and approve rosters in PAC are in the Enterprise Learning Management System (ELM) and can be accessed by clicking on the links below. When you click on the link, you will be asked to sign in with your UNI and password. Once on the page, simply click the blue "Launch" button and then select the appropriate module(s) to view. Initiators should complete the Initiator course. Approvers should complete both the Initiator and Approver courses.
