The following email was sent to select Officers on Tuesday, October 8:

The School at Columbia University has recently determined your Primary Tuition Scholarship (PTS) benefit for the 2024-2025 school year has not been received for your student’s account. Columbia-affiliated families are required to submit an executed PTS-TSC application each year.

Please submit your PTS-TSC application to EBPA by the Friday, November 1, 2024 deadline

The following resources are available via our Primary Tuition Scholarship webpage as a guide to help you prepare and submit your application(s) to EBPA:

As a reminder, the PTS will pay 60% of your child’s tuition for grades K-8 at The School at Columbia University. Families with multiple children enrolled at TSC will receive an additional 5%, equal to a 65% benefit, for each sibling enrollee after the first child.  To be eligible, you and your child must live within the five (5) boroughs of New York City. A child with two parents eligible for the benefit, hired on or before July 1, 2011, without a break in service, may receive two scholarships simultaneously, covering 100% of the tuition. Please know you must submit one (1) PTS application for each child each school year.

We encourage you to register for the EBPA CU Tuition Tracking System to enhance your customer service experience and provide online status updates on the processing of your PTS application: In ProgressPending, or Paid.

Registration requires your Columbia email address and password creation. Your uploaded application will be available on the portal for tracking in 2-3 business days after submission. Once your tuition scholarship benefit has been Paid, the CU Tuition Tracking System provides you an opportunity to view your Explanation of Payment online or save for your records.

EBPA will notify you by email if your PTS application is missing any required information. Please respond as quickly as possible to avoid any processing delays.

If you have questions about the PTS Policy, please call the Columbia Benefits Service Center at 212-851-7000 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday) or email [email protected].
