Dear HR Network Colleagues,
This e-mail is to inform you that the New York State minimum wage will increase to $16.00 per hour for New York City, effective January 1, 2024. Please note that this has no impact on the University-set minimum hourly rate for Student Instructional Workers, Student Research Workers, and Student Academic Support Workers.
This change will primarily impact causal and work study employees. CUHR will be making the changes in PAC centrally, so no action is required by you.
Please note – you will not need to complete a NYS 195 form for each employee.
