Opioid Overdose Prevention Program
Columbia Health’s Opioid Overdose Prevention Program (OOPP) provides education on opioids, opioid use disorder, and overdose prevention. Campus community members are trained on how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose and administer naloxone, a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. The program also supports community members seeking treatment for opioid use disorder, and disburses naloxone kits and fentanyl test strips at no cost.
To request a naloxone training for your community; submit the OOPP training request form.
